McBride’s touring program consists of a program tribute to “Brother Ray” where he performs classics by Ray Charles.
A consummate entertainer in modern R&B tinged jazz, soul, straight ahead, gospel or Funk – Joe McBride has a lot to say. His shows demonstrate his amazing soulful ability to sing and play the piano at a very high-level and connect with an audience.
McBride has also participated in internationally recognized recordings such as “Diamonds On The Souls Of Her Shoes” along with Melissa Ethridge on Ladysmith Black Mambazo’s Grammy nominated Long Walk To Freedom. He recorded the classic African jazz anthem “Mannenberg” along with guitarist/vocalist Jonathan Butler on the album Smooth Africa.
Frame4Frame is the first of its kind musical and visual arts forum dedicated to raising cultural awareness and appreciation for the diverse population that exists throughout Arlington and North Texas.
Frame4Frame is committed to enlightening the public with a first-class, international program, through the contribution of art, film, music and educational workshops. Participants will be motivated to greater civic responsibility and making positive contributions that build bridges for bettering relationships between cultures. This cultural arts experience strives to unite communities and bring about a greater appreciation of our neighbors.
The four-day festival is held in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington (DFWA) area which is a talent-rich, art, music and film environment.
The festival offers networking events for film enthusiast, musicians and artists. Live music and art exhibits will be featured at venues around UT Arlington and #ArlingtonTX.
