1999 The Legacy of Prince started on August 21st of 2021 in Dallas Texas. Their debut performance was hosted at Dallas hot spot Sidecar Social to a sold out crowd, and since then the Purple Party has not stopped. Every show since their debut has been sold out in major venues throughout the US. 1999 The Legacy of Prince strives to not be your average tribute but a true tribute production. Playing all the hits of one of the most iconic and influential artist of all time, paired with their one of a kind stage show and production. 1999 The Legacy of Prince takes you on a a journey through true recreations of Prince’ most memorable concert tours. 1999 The Legacy of Prince is comprised of both seasoned and accomplished musicians, dancers, and production members. Lead by Danny Allen who brings his years of experience as an actor, model, producer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, tribute artist, and world wide touring musician. Backed by Metal Matt Chapman on lead guitar who is an accomplished songwriter, guitar teacher, YouTube influencer, and touring musician. Giovanni Riggens on keys and backing vocals is not only passionate about his instrument but a true Prince connoisseur. Chad Allen on bass guitar is a true veteran of the music industry playing in original, corporate, and tribute bands for over 20 years. Josh Willis aka DJ Cyborg on drums is not only the energetic heartbeat of 1999, he is also the son of the legendary pianist/keyboardist Eric Willis. Linda Lee on backing vocals is a legend all on her own with her soulful tone and vocal power, with years of touring and recording experience. Last but not least the sensational Little Red Corvettes the team of national award winning dancers and instructors top off the show with their amazing moves and choreography.
