Welcome to a fun, 10-day Music Theatre Camp for Students who have completed grades 1-8!

The 2017 AMH FUN ARTS CAMP will happen every day July 10-20, from 9:00am – 3:00pm at ARLINGTON MUSIC HALL,

224 N. Center Street in beautiful downtown Arlington, Texas. That’s Monday through Saturday of the first week and Monday through Thursday of the second week.

This summer, we’re planning to present… Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, Jr.!

We want to expose our campers to all aspects of musical theatre, and bring out the creativity and FUN in each one! Students will have the opportunity to not only sing and dance on stage, but to also play a role in the design and execution of the sets and costumes!

Working with a Creative Team boasting more than 50 years in entertainment and education, Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, Jr. will come to life under the artistic direction of Claud Smith III (Veteran Disney, Sea World and Six Flags Show Director & Writer) and the vocal direction of Debbie Pesnell (Public School Choral Director & Veteran Six Flags Vocal Coach). This is the same duo responsible for bringing the celebrated CHRISTMASPECTACULAR! To life this past December at ARLINGTON MUSIC HALL.

A snack is provided by AMH, but each camper must bring their own lunch every day. Students will also need to bring or wear clothes in which they can paint. For safety reasons, flip-flops and sandals are not recommended.

All of the fun will ultimately lead our cast of campers to the stage of the historic Arlington Music Hall. On Thursday afternoon (July 20), we will present a “command performance” for friends and family. Photography and videotaping of these events is not only allowed – it’s encouraged.

COST for the 10-day camp experience is $350.
